i came across something not long ago where you could paste in text and it would turn it into a poster.
thanks to darren, i think this is where it was, although i do remember a black background....

you can continue to click on random, or go to the colour tab and change it's colour scheme you can get a black background....

I was going to say this, too. Also, if you want pairs of words or phrases to stay together, you put a ~ (tilde) between them instead of a space. The tilde becomes a space in the wordle. I intend to use it when I next run a Bible study - get people to circle the bits they think are most important in the text and then see whether the Wordle agrees and talk about it.
