bought a cherry tree for the back yard today. have a nice mulloway in the oven with lemon, olive oil, parsley etc. baked spuds and sweet potato mash, some pan-fried zucchini slices and some baked cherry tomatoes. and some of philip johnson's salsa verde -
a handful of basil and a handful of flat leaf parsley (thank you garden...)
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 1/2 tbspns salted capers
3 anchovy fillets
1 tbspn red wine vinegar
2 1/2 tbspns extra virgin olive oil
2 tspns dijon mustard
salt and pepper
all chopped finely & whisked.
