a collective exhibition and discussion is being hosted by the Tate Gallery in Britain on altermodernity. The suggestion is that postmodernism is dead: "multiculturalism and the discourse of identity is being overtaken by a planetary movement of creolisation; cultural relativism and deconstruction, substituted for modernist universalism."

We're co-hosting two public lunchtime conversations with Jonny Baker and Cheryl Lawrie in a couple of weeks, at Pilgrim UC Hall, Tuesday 9th and Thursday 11th March, 12.00-1.30 pm. Cost $10, BYO lunch.
