yesterday was really warm - we thought it was the first day of spring so i fired up the Webber and made my Moroccan Roast Lamb - best yet! (recipe below).
then tonight we've had torrential rain, wild wind and a power blackout! so much for spring!
Anyway, here's the Lamb recipe and I'm pleased to say this one's original!
INGREDIENTS
1 leg of lamb
1 tbsp ground coriander
1 tbsp cumin seed
3 tbsp honey
2 teasp mixed spice or allspice
1 tbsp sea salt
1 tbsp olive oil
½ preserved lemon - chopped finely (my own home batch!)
½ teasp chilli powder
½ teasp pomegranate molasses
Trim the fat from the lamb and rub with the marinade
Leave it for a while (5 minutes in my case).
Barbecue the lamb in the Webber (ie. sealed charcoal BBQ).
DON'T OPEN THE LID WHILE IT'S COOKING!
Serve with couscous, sour cream and steamed veg.
Very tasty indeed.
not a tagine recipie then...
that dang pomegranate molasses is in it again!!! :) i was thinking one could cut up some dates or ground some pistachios into the marinade also...
realised i could do the tagine rather well in the weber if i wanted to...

no point in putting a tagine in a Weber. the tagine is sealed so you wont get any BBQ flavour getting in there. pistachios would work. i think dates would be too mushy. but give it a try...
