I’ve just discovered that Quicktime 7.3.1 on the Mac no longer plays Flash files.
This will particularly affect you if you use Arkaos VJ which uses Quicktime to play its movies.
If you’ve already run the auto update (like me), you should be able to reinstall 7.3, but at the moment I can’t find it on the Apple website.....
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
that is plain stupid!

Ouch!
Lots of discussion about it (including Arkaos) on Apple's discussion forums.
Reinstalling 7.3 does *not* look an option, even if you could find it.
A lot of really grump people out there - especially those with Arkaos VJ shows to do over Christmas and New Year, and those who use Flash in Quicktime for instructional media.
Would past the link, but the upgrade to Typepad comments keeps telling me it's spam. Must be the season for releasing updated software to annoy people.
