"The Colder Months" by Liza Anne - a lady with an acoustic guitar and that lilty kind of voice. hard to go wrong. On Noisetrade.
"Medicine" by Drew Holcomb and the Neighbours - Drew is sensational, lovely crooning tenor, nice guitar, great songs. some of this is like David Gray, some like Ryan Adams. great. Check out his Noisetrade Sampler.
"Diamond Rugs" by Diamond Rugs - Members of Deer Tick, Los Lobos and others. What do you get? Garagey rock with a country edge. Brash. Fun.
"Everybody Knows It" by Terns - "Terns hold to no real genre markings, blending jazz, jam and rock inspired grooves with fuzzed out guitar lines, ukulele, banjo and basically anything else that happens to be lying around during the recording process.' Free on Noisetrade.
"All I Do Is Lie" by Sean Watkins - Punch Brothers singer-guitarist give us some introspective acoustic folky stuff. Nice guitar.
"Nobody Knows Anything" by Alex Highton - another terrific singer songwriter with that Scouse accent. Try his first album "Woodditton Wives Club" on Noisetrade.
"Uptown Special" by Mark Ronson - no, it's not David Bowie's deceased lead guitarist, but the hip record producer. This is me being a hip listener. Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars feature...
"Living in the Fast Lane" - Michael Bloomfield - fabulous blues from the 60's.
"Single Mothers" by Justin Townes Earle - Steve's little boy wreaks his own sombre but catchy blues.
